A drunk woman ordered her dog to attack a stranger before the crazed animal bit part of a pensioner's ear off.

Vickilee Galloway has been jailed for three years and banned from owning a dog for __life after she set her Staffordshire bull terrier on Stacey Findlay during a booze-fuelled argument.

The dog will now be put down, reports the Daily Record .

During the attack, Galloway told the animal: “Jake, attack.”

Stacey, 27 at the time, was left with bite marks on an arm and ears and will be scarred for life.

The out-of-control dog then turned on a Brian Pennie, 68, who was left with a part of an ear missing.

Galloway, 37, previously admitted responsibility for the attacks at Brian’s home in Peterhead, Scotland, last February.

Yesterday, a judge rejected a plea to spare Galloway a jail sentence at the High Court in Edinburgh.

Lord Kinclaven told her: “There is no alternative to a custodial sentence and it requires to be significant”

He told her he would have jailed her for three-and-a-half years but for her guilty pleas.

Lord Kinclaven added: “Your voluntary intoxication may help to explain the events of that night but it does not excuse.”

The judge was also concerned that the bull terrier remained a danger to public safety and ordered that a vet be be appointed to destroy the dog.

He told Galloway that he would ban her from owning a dog for life.

Lord Kinclaven said: “By your actions, you have indicated you are not a fit and proper person to have custody of a dog.”
