A horrified pet owner discovered her dog in the jaws of a terrifying 6m-long python.
Klomphan Khiewwan said she came downstairs at 3am yesterday to find her pooch Fino being eaten head-first by the huge reptile .
Klomphan, 21, quickly called for help from emergency support service Ruamkatanyu Foundation, who came with snake-catching equipment, according to Coconuts Bangkok .
When they arrived and made a move to get closer to the snake, the serpent started to spit out the half-eaten dog in order to make an escape.
The python was eventually caught and released into the wild, but unfortunately, Fino was already dead.

Klomphan said that earlier in the night, she heard her dog yelping while she was trying to sleep upstairs, but she did not check on him.
The tragic scenario that unfolded in Thailand is sadly not uncommon.
In 2014 a much-loved pet cat called Tiger was eaten by a scrub python in Australia.
The feline's owners only found out what had happened to the family pet when they saw it peeping out of the snake's decomposing body.
Owner Francis Bakvis discovered the bloated python in his garden after noticing a foul smell coming from the yard.
