Well co-ordinated cats learn how to play 'pat-a-cake' by tapping their paws together in sequence

These three cats have an incredible skill that will make the rest of the feline-owning population jealous - they can play pat-a-cake with their PAWS.

Olle, Lillebror and Ferdinand have apparently learned to perform the playground game by tapping their paws together in perfect co-ordination.

The trio of British Shorthair felines have built up a huge following on social media since their owners Helena and Olof Rogbrant posted of their antics online.

They spotted two-year-old brothers Olle and Lillebror clapping just a day after collecting them from their breeder two years go.

Since then Olle and Lillebror have passed their talents onto their younger furry friend Ferdinand, who also plays the game with them.

Helena, 36, of Stockholm, Sweden, said: "We associate the game with happiness, because they always do it when they're happy.

"They do it almost every time when I'm about to feed them with their 'luxury food' that they get a couple of times a week, and also when we come home from work in the afternoons."

The adorable pets can be caught performing their game around four to five times a week.

Helena added: "Olle and Lillebror did the Patty Cake game the day after we came home with them, so they're self-taught and have been doing this since the first day.

"We were in bed in the morning and we'd placed a wool chair for the kittens beside the bed, and that's where and when we spotted it for the first time.

"It's quite hard to catch them on the camera because they are so aware of it.

"As soon as I pick up my camera they quit playing, so I have to do it on the sly."
