A wildlife lover has filmed foxes bouncing on a makeshift trampoline in her garden, in a true-life version of the John Lewis Christmas advert.
And Dora Nightingale says she would have let the retail giant film foxes Fudge, Faith and Freya for a charity donation of just £1,000, instead of the £7million cost.
Dora, 52, said: “The CGI in the ad is very good – they look just like the foxes in my garden. They love to bounce on my sun lounger for hours on end. I didn’t realise they could jump so high.”
The three animals have played in the garden of Dora’s home in Worthing, West Sussex, since they were cubs, and she has been able to watch them grow.

Her film footage shows the playful foxes scampering underneath and clambering on top of a sun lounger, then leaping high in the air on it for hours on end.
Dora said: “I’ve got a real-life John Lewis advert in my back garden. They could have saved themselves £7million.”

She said she was touched by the ad, which shows CGI foxes and other animals on a trampoline. She said: “It shows these animals as the beautiful creatures they are and that’s the biggest magic of all.
“I hope it highlights that they are not vermin, they are intelligent, cute and cuddly. Things like this go on in gardens all the time. You wouldn’t need CGI.”
She said she would have asked for a £1,000 donation to the West Sussex Wildlife Protection charity “to help rescue foxes injured by traps”.
